CAPI on Windows: More modern directory picker?

Hi everyone,

on Windows the CAPI prompt-for-directory function uses a very old common controls dialog, rather than the modern day equivalent that prompt-for-file uses, which besides UI implications is also fairly restricted in the kind of accessible paths (e.g. network paths).

Does anyone by chance have a replacement for prompt-for-directory that uses the more modern dialog, or is something like this planned for some future version of LispWorks? How do people deal with this?

Thanks in Advance,

Regs, Pierre.
