Linux install issues

Hi, trying to install LW 7.0 onto Ubuntu, getting the following error message when trying to install by RPM:

root:/usr/local/src# rpm --install lispworks-7.0-1.i386.rpm
rpm: RPM should not be used directly install RPM packages, use Alien instead!
rpm: However assuming you know what you are doing...
error: Failed dependencies:
        libc.so.6 is needed by lispworks-7.0-1.i386
        libdl.so.2 is needed by lispworks-7.0-1.i386
        libpthread.so.0 is needed by lispworks-7.0-1.i386
        /bin/sh is needed by lispworks-7.0-1.i386

What can we make of this?

Thanks,
JD

Re: Linux install issues

Your missing dependencies, you must install those yourself prior to the main package
