Specifying the location of a browser for reading manuals

Dear List

I have tried to get the LispWorks IDE (7.0) to use my Firefox browser.
The symbolic link to the browser is in /usr/local/bin/firefox, but, so
far, I have been unsuccessful.

In a Listener, I have chosen Help>Browser Preferences... In the
displayed dialog, I have chosen Firefox in the drop-down list, Directory
for the Browser Executable Location and put /usr/local/bin in the input
field. I have tnen clicked on Apply and, finally, OK.

When I choose Help>Manuals>IDE User Guide, nothing at all happens. I
have a copy of the Firefox Developer Edition which displays nothing.
Choosing another manual produces the same result: nothing.

Has anybody else had this problem? I've even put a symbolic link
in /usr/bin to the symbolic link in /usr/local/bin/firefox. Noddinks.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely
