removing default menu items on MacOSX

Hello,

Is it possible to remove the default menu items from capi::interface-windows ? (for instance, the "Edit/Start Dictation" menu in OS 10.9)

Using   " :auto-menus nil " as suggested in the CAPI user manual does not seem to work here..

(capi::display (make-instance 'capi::interface :auto-menus nil))
