Mavericks and list-panels

Can anyone help with one change in Mavericks that's causing me a few problems?

LispWorks lisp-panels no longer seem to be highlighted in blue when they're selected. For example, in the LispWorks Preferences dialog, the left-hand list of categories was highlighted in blue under Mountain Lion when selected; now it's not:

This may not seem significant, but in my applications I allow pasting of objects into list panels, and when there are multiple empty list panels on the screen it's now impossible to tell which one's selected.

I've searched for a new System Preferences option to control this but without success. Any suggestions?

By the way, apart from this LispWorks 6 seems to run smoothly under Mavericks.
