Inheriting from callbacks

Hi,

I'm developing some new graphical components, and I would like to have some callbacks available for those components. While I could implement my own, is it somehow possible to use the capi:callbacks mixin to do it for me? The thing I cannot figure out is how to call these callbacks from within the component!
