Single-thread CAPI

Wow! Having CAPI run in only one thread on Mac OS X is really becoming a problem... Code that works just fine on Windows now freezes solid on Mac, and no breaking out of it. Only forced termination and restart is available.

Has anyone made any progress with respect to getting more robustness from OS X Capi? I understand that this relates to a design deficiency in Cocoa, but maybe there is something that we can do as a workaround?
