LW6

Hi list,

I have some questions about LW 6 (I¹m always on LW5.2 and I¹m curious about
the new performances) :

1) Does the new behavior in multi-processing domain result in an improvement
of the performances of applications delivered with LW ?
2) Is the work with drawing processes and other processes simpler (I mean,
for instance, the implementation of a fluid progress-bar) ?
3) Does the use of several cores result in a better capacity to do real time
tasks ? I mean, does the GC work more discreetly ?
4) And finally, does the use of the new behavior of the mp package result in
a lot of changes in existing codes ?
