number of threads

LWM 5.1.2.

In Mac OS X, when using "top" I sometimes see "lispworks" using less threads than I can see in the LW Process Browser!?

I have seen this when using a framework called MidiShare. I can for example see 20 threads in the Process browser when I can see 18 threads in "top". Most of the threads are named "Process for unknown thread..." and stem from callbacks set upp to trigger when MIDI events arrive.

Any thoughts on why I see more threads in the Process Browser?
