Reader Macros
..... actually, now that I recall... you need several eval-when clauses around that code. Each reader macro needs to be in place in order to compile the following macros. I found that LW (and perhaps all other Lisps too?) tends to suck in the entire region of an eval when and then attempts to compile it. If the reader macros for Edi's ppcre are not already in place by the time those other reader macros are being compiled then the compiler complains about the reader macro not being in place.Sheesh...I thought this would be a simple, quick, share. I would probably make three separate eval-when clauses there. One around each of the reader macro sections. It seems implausible that just moving the set-dispatch-macro-character form outside of the eval-when clause is the whole answer.
