Realtime Audio Processing from High-Level Lisp!!

Thought you might be interested to hear... Martin's comments yesterday about passing arrays directly from Lisp to external libraries got me thinking. I spent the day refining my FFT interface. We now have real-time audio processing from high-level Lisp. The speedup is more that 670x, going from an old speed of 150 Hz, to a new speed of 100 kHz, for 1024-point single-precision FFT's.
