Slime, LW Pro 5.1 and CAPI

Hello,

Is anybody developing CAPI applications using Slime? On OS X Emacs 23.0?

Creating new panes seems to work otherwise, but text entered in
text-input-pane seems to go to Emacs window rather than the input
pane, regardless of what window is active.

Any other tricks you might want to share helping one to develop using Slime?
