graph-pane questions

Is there a way for me to enlarge the teeny node circles in the 
expandable-item-pinboard-objects of a graph-pane?

Why does the cursor turn into a grasping hand when I drag it in a 
graph-pane?  Is it possible to actually drag something?  Can I turn that 
off?  Thank you.
