In Global Preferences for "Confirm Before Exiting", I use "When modified buffers". There is no confirmation if I have created an unnamed buffer. I suppose this is technically correct since the buffer was not modified, but it would be nice to be warned that there is unsaved information which is about to be abandoned. Mitch
