Info from the Debugger

When I do a asdf:load-op and there is an error in one of the source files, 
I typically receive information of the following type from the debugger:

erred while invoking #<ASDF:COMPILE-OP (:SERIAL T) 216FB297> on
#<ASDF:CL-SOURCE-FILE "packages" 219415DF>

This is interesting but does not allow me to learn more on the 
error that really happened. I remember when I used the 
Allegro trial, that there was complete debugging into the real error
in a similar situation. 

Is there a compiler switch or something that allows me to go beyound the 
asdf error shown above ?

I would be happy to learn more on this !
