Does anyone but me need the subject to be able to optimize their Lispworks code? I find this ACL feature indispensable and far more effective than reading through the assembler dumps to figure out what the compiler is doing. I don't know how the LW compiler is built but it does not seem like too much work to print out optimizer steps and statistics. What do you folks think?
