Using the scroll wheel in the editor?

I run LispWorks 5.0 (Professional, Linux 32-bit) and I've noticed that
the editor only responds to movement of the scroll wheel if my cursor
is over the scrollbar.  Can I configure the editor to respond to
scroll wheel motion when my cursor is over the text area of the editor
as well?
