Failed to reserve xxx bytes of memory

Hi!

One user of the Regex Coach <http://weitz.de/regex-coach/> reported
the following error message (on Win XP pro SP2):

  Failed to reserve 14417921 bytes of memory (preferred address
  0x20000000).  Error 487: Es wurde versucht, auf eine ungültige
  Adresse zuzufgreifen.

The translation of the German part is "Attempt to access invalid
address."

Has anyone seen something like this before (with an application
delivered from LW)?  Any idea what could be the cause and how it could
be solved?
