LWW user-homedir-pathname

Hi,

How does LWW decide what to use for (user-homedir-pathname)?

Is there a way to set it to something different?

I see in the documentation that it says the it defaults to

c:/users/<login name>

My lisp, running under vmware, is mysteriously setting it to e:\
