Highlighting an edge in a graph pane

Hi

I have a graph pane with selectable edges.  I want to change the CAPI 
default behavior when  I select an edge.
Currently the behavior is to flip background and foreground of the 
edge, resulting in a black rectangle around the edge.
I am trying to put methods on DRAW-PINBOARD-OBJECT-{UN}HIGHLIGHTED to 
no avail.

Has anybody tried and succeeded to do anything similar?

PS: As an aside, how do I get an edge x, y, widht, and height?
