Prompt-for-color like window

Anybody now how to do an interface like the capi:prompt-for-color or
capi:prompt-for-font dialogs (but without the modal status) ? On Mac, these
windows have a little title bar with little buttons. But I think this is
undocumented on the CAPI doc.
