SELECT FOO AS TABLE WHERE ....

sorry if this is a FAQ (I may have also asked this a long time ago, but 
I can't find anything in my archives)

How do you render

select foo as table where ....

in the [...] syntax?  Is it possible, or you must resort to 
SQL:SQL-EXPRESSION?
