ODBC advice on Linux

Hi

I need to port an application I wrote on Linux.

The application connects to a MySQL database using ODBC.  Does anybody 
have any suggestions about how to go ahead and configure odbc on a 
Linux box?

I am lazy.  I know.

I've used UnixODBC for that. On debian it's just an apt-get away. Then
you set up the ODBC sources and that's it.
