Product Build

Can a Lispworks image be built on a Unix/Linux environment so that there
is a standalone "exe" like file to invoke our program?

I hope that makes sense. I'm evaluating Lispworks for a product we are
building and want to ensure that we can deliver cross-platform if
needed. Unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with Unix/Linux
environments, yet. :/

Thanks!

LW can create .exe's and .dll's under Windows and executables under Linux. Is
that what you are asking about? If so, read the Delivery manual, eg.

http://www.lispworks.com/reference/lw43/DV/html/deluser.htm

Delivery is not available on all versions of LW (e.g. Delivery is not
available in Personal Edition).
