I found that sql::universal-time works when talking to ODBC; I think it
might work in your setting, but I can't test it.

Hi. What slot type should I specify for oracle DATE objects when using
DEF-VIEW-CLASS? The LW documentation only indicates UNIVERSAL-TIME for
oracle TIMESTAMP, which by the way the LW compiler doesn't like.
