CAPI question: DISPLAY-DIALOG and resizable areas

Hi

I have an interface which can be resized when displayed via 
CAPI:DISPLAY.
However, when I use CAPI:DISPLAY-DIALOG the interface is not resizable. 
  Is this a feature?  Can it be overridden? How?
