Move a pane to another interface

Hello,

I have an (capi) interface that appears as an item of a tab layout. I
would like the user have the possibility to make it appear as a
top-level window (and back to the tab-layout). I would like the same
instance to be moved (not create a new one). Now, I can remove the
interface from the tab layout by modifying the collection-items slot but
I cannot display the removed item as a top-level window.

Is it possible to do this kind of thing with capi ? Does anybody have a
suggestion ?
